I purchased it to be used as a recovery run shoe which it is exceptional for that use. It would also perform equally well as a daily trainer. Good amount of cushioning that is not too soft but perfect for minimizing and absorbing impact on your runs. I have not used it for long runs yet but I may consider it when my legs need a little more cushioning.
