Tennis shoes and pickleball shoes may seem similar, but they have key differences. Tennis shoes often cater to the type of surface, unless they're a all-court shoe. They're also designed with traction and grip for lateral movements. On the other hand, pickleball shoes are made for forwards and backwards movements on hard courts only. If you have a pair of hard court tennis shoes and don't play pickleball frequently, it's OK to use the same pair for both.
