I use these in the gym! Comfortable, firm sole with close to 0 lift, and absolutely amazing grip. Not the ideal shoe for running on a treadmill, but a few min for warmup is perfectly fine. Narrow sole under the heel, but the wide stabile front and grippy sole more than makes up for a slightly less stabile heel than I'm used to. The only shoe I have ever trained in that does not slip during standing calf raises!
