The look if this pair of shoes is sleek and dressed up. It's wide enough to hold real feet while still looking trim and well-proportioned. The only problem I had out of the box was that the inner lining at the tip of the toe box was crumpled and jammed my toes due to the folds' bulk taking up space. When I stuck my hand inside and felt the area and pushed hard on those folds to "spread" them out, this action smoothed out the interior material layer, but the folds crunched down when my hand withdrew. So I stuffed the interior paper padding hard into the toe boxand will leave the shoes like that for a couple weeks to see if the pressure smoothes out the folds. If this doesn't happen, I am going to return them. Maybe this is the design or maybe this is flaw, but the folds will trash my toes. I don't think sizing up is the answer because, then, the heel will be too loose. Fingers crossed.
