Buying second time, the other is worn out, thats my kids school bag. He used the old one for 4 years.

I really wanted to like this backpack, but there are a number of things with the design that I’m struggling with and make me regret my purchase. First the good- it’s a great quality backpack and very robust. It looks good and feels comfortable. Now, the not so great. One reason I bought the pack was for the shoe compartment. I do spin a lot and it carries my cycling shoes. There are 2 problems: 1ly, there’s a pocket inside the compartment and my shoes catch on it. Every time. 2ly, the compartment isn’t external to the pack, so it takes up space inside one of the other compartments, leaving less space for gear, in a not very big pack. The other thing is that there is a laptop compartment, a gear compartment, a shoe compartment and…another gear compartment. The external pocket is too small for jets, earbuds, my hearing aids and no way will it fit a phone or wallet, so you have to use the pocket inside one of the gear compartments, which once you have shoes & gear, is hard to access.
